Board Self-Assessment
The Board Self-Assessment Survey aims to evaluate the performance of the Board, the Committees and its individual members, measure the effectiveness of the Company’s governance practices and identify areas for improvement and adopt new methodologies to further strengthen our Company’s corporate governance standards. The annual self-assessment exercise will be supported by an external facilitator every three years starting 2019.
This self-assessment tool will cover the following areas:
- Fulfillment of the Committee’s Key Responsibilities
- Quality of the Committee’s Relationship to Management
- Effectiveness of the Committee’s Processes and Meetings
- Performance of Individual Committee Members
Below is a summary of the scores from 2021 until 2023 as well as results of the Board Committee surveys . For the 2022 assessment, AREIT engaged Aon Hewitt Southeast Asia.
